| Abstract: |
| The inclusion process is a stochastic particle system in which attractive interactions can lead to particle clusters of diverging size. This phenomenon is known as condensation. Our aim is to study the limiting dynamics of such a process, with an additional slow phase in which particle interactions occur at a vanishing rate proportional to the inverse system size. Our main result provides convergence in law of inclusion processes to a novel two-component infinite-dimensional stochastic diffusion. The limit describes the co-evolution of the system’s solid condensed and microscopic fluid phase. In particular, we establish non-trivial mass exchange between the two phases. |
