| Abstract: |
| The Kardar-Parisi-Zhang (KPZ) universality class is a rich and rapidly developing subject at the interface of probability theory and mathematical physics. In this talk, we present several central examples of the KPZ universality class and discuss two key objects that describe its scaling limits: the directed landscape and the KPZ fixed point. Furthermore, we discuss recent extensions to periodic models. This talk is based on joint work with Amol Aggarwal and Ivan Corwin. |
