»Semidefinite Optimization and Combinatorial Relaxations«

Abstract:
After a short introduction to Semidefinite Optimization we tour through several classical semidefinite relaxations of combinatorial optimization problems. They are mostly based on either an algebraic approach via 0-1 polynomials or a geometric approach via vector labellings and we try to highlight advantages and differences of vector labelling and 0-1 interpretations
