| Abstract: |
| The Bohr topos provides an alternative mathematical universe that allows for a different formulation of quantum kinematics similar to classical kinematics at the price of being bound to intuitionistic logic rather than classical logic. In the present thesis, we introduce means to generalize this topos to the case of quantum field theory in a natural way. Interestingly, we can then access the causal structure of spacetime in the topos and check whether an appropriate locality axiom, formally known as microcausality, is satisfied. Furthermore, we outline an attempt to formulate quantum dynamics using topoi, which is presumably the biggest obstruction of the topos approach in the current state. |
