| The rapid deployment of large language models (LLMs) in decision-making and advisory contexts raises pressing questions about their evaluation. We increasingly need to assess how these systems shape opinions, decisions and the society at large. This talk addresses three critical dimensions: (1) the presence of biases (e.g. political orientation) in LLMs, and their implications for trustworthiness; (2) the challenges of using LLMs in election-support systems, where such biases as well as hallucinations can undermine democratic processes; and (3) the need for longitudinal analysis - tracking model behavior over time to better understand changes in model behaviour and the effects of updates |
