| For some manifolds, it has been shown in various works that there exists a choice of local coefficients for which the associated twisted symplectic homology of their cotangent bundles vanishes. As in the usual symplectic homology, this vanishing has important consequences, including the finiteness of the Hofer–Zehnder capacity. In this talk, we focus on the quantitative side and consider spectral invariants arising from twisted symplectic homology. More precisely, we compute such spectral invariants for certain fiberwise convex domains in the cotangent bundle of the 2-sphere, emphasizing their dependence on the choice of coefficients and their relation to the Hofer–Zehnder capacity of disk cotangent bundles over ellipsoids. This talk is based on my ongoing project and a related joint project with Johanna Bimmerman. |
