»Parametric Gromov width of Liouville domains«

Abstract:
The parametric Gromov widths of a symplectic manifold are introduced. In the case the manifold is the interior of a Liouville domain, upper bounds are derived using filtered symplectic cohomology groups. When the domain is a unit codisk bundle of a manifold M, upper bounds on the parametric Gromov width are derived in terms of the string topology of M. In this talk, I will explain the idea behind the upper bounds, and how our paper treats the identification between string topology and Floer cohomology.
