| In this talk, I will review the notions of relative and real symplectic capacities and discuss the discoveries over the years. Based on my work in progress, I will present some results telling how trivial these notions are compared to the ordinary (absolute) symplectic capacities, and to which perspective one might see the non-triviality, e.g. the finiteness of real Hofer--Zehnder capacity would rely on the study of local systems on path spaces and open string topology. If time permits, I will introduce the notion of real Gutt--Hutchings capacities and make some statements which is inspired by the recent results on the ordinary Gutt--Hutchings capacities. |
