| Originally introduced in the context of Onsager’s conjecture, convex integration has become a useful tool in studying the well-posedness of deterministic systems arising in the field of fluid dynamics. In contrast to usual PDE techniques, it enables to construct solutions based on an explicit iterative procedure. In recent years, this has attracted the attention also in the SPDE community and various works studied the extension to the stochastic framework. This talk shall provide an overview of the core ideas of the method, starting off with the deterministic machinery and then providing an insight into the treatment of noise. This activity receives partial funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the EU-HORIZON EUROPE ERC-2021-ADG research and innovation programme (project „Noise in Fluids“, grant agreement no. 101053472). |
