Abstract: |
In order to understand differential equations with irregular singularities, it is essential to study the growth behaviour of their solutions. By a result of D'Agnolo-Kashiwara, objects called "enhanced ind-sheaves" classify differential systems, and hence they encode in particular information about solutions which grow polynomially or decrease rapidly near a singularity. In this talk, I will first give a short introduction to irregular singularities and (enhanced) ind-sheaves. I will then present a joint work with Brian Hepler, where we show how to recover quite naturally classical objects and results related to such growth conditions from this general context. |
