» Global charts for moduli spaces of stable maps and a product formula«

Abstract:
We describe a construction of global Kuranishi charts for moduli space of stable maps of arbitrary genus and explain why such a construction can be useful. As a first application, we will give a formula for the Gromov-Witten type invariants of a product symplectic manifold. If time permits, we will also sketch an Atiyah-Bott localisation formula in the presence of a Hamiltonian torus action. This is joint work in progress with Mohan Swaminathan.
