»The generalized Franchetta conjecture for K3 surfaces«

Abstract:
O’Grady has conjectured that the Chow group of 0-cycles of the generic fiber of the universal family of K3 surfaces of genus g is cyclic of rank 1. I will explain the background and motivation for this conjecture, and then present a joint work with Lie Fu where we prove the g=14 case of this conjecture. This is the first evidence for this conjecture beyond Mukai models; the argument involves special cubic fourfolds.
