Seidel proved that the generalized Dehn twist - which simply is the generalization in higher dimensionof the classical Dehn twist for surfaces - is not Hamiltonian. His proof relies on Lagrangian Floer homology and his notion of "graded Lagrangian submanifolds". Following these ideas we prove that this Dehn twist is not a Hamiltonian homeomorphism. To help us translate the smooth notions at stake in Seidel's work into C⁰ symplectic topology, we use the technology of barcodes. |
