»The Chekanov torus in S² x S² is not real«

Abstract:
We study the following question in real symplectic topology: is there a monotone Lagrangian submanifold in a closed symplectic manifold that is the fixed point set of a smooth involution, while not of an antisymplectic involution? We explain why this question is interesting, and show that the Chekanov torus in S² x S² answers the question.
