Abstract: |
Symplectomorphisms of a 2-disc can be interpreted as time-1 maps of Hamiltonian flows on solid tori. Their periodic orbits define braid conjugacy classes up to twisting. Examining the dynamics relative to these braid classes yields a Floer homology theory for relative braid classes. |
