»A useful characterization of the Clifford torus«

Abstract:
In this talk I will explain, with details, the characterization of the Clifford torus as the unique orientable compact minimal surface of the 3-dimensional sphere with index five. Remarks about its consequences in the Neves-Codá's solution of the Willmore conjecture will be done.
