»Homogeneous 3-Manifolds and Cosmology«

Abstract:
We are going to classify homogeneous Riemannian spaces in dimension three, in order to use them for the spatial part of a cosmological spacetime. The Einstein equations will determine a flow for a curve of Riemannian metrics on the homogeneous space, which describes the dynamics of the universe. Finally we want to look for singularities, also known as Big Bangs oder Big Crunches.
