September 22-24, 2014
Centro di Ricerca Matematica Ennio De Giorgi, Pisa, Italy

organized by:
Lisa Beck, Dirk Blömker (Augsburg)
Franco Flandoli, Marco Romito (Pisa)

The purpose of the School is to introduce and discuss recent development in the analysis of singular stochastic PDEs arising in Physics, such as the Kardar-Parisi-Zhang equation. In this class of problems the irregularity introduced by the driving noise does not allow to use classical methods from the theory of partial differential equations.

The school is aimed at student and young researchers in the field of stochastic PDEs, as well as scholars coming from the fields of the theory of PDE and theoretical physics.

The school consists in a series of lectures by Massimiliano Gubinelli, additional invited lectures by Harald Oberhauser, Hendrik Weber, Lorenzo Zambotti and short presentations by participants.

-Lecture Course
Massimiliano Gubinelli (Universite Paris Dauphine)

-Invited Lectures
Harald Oberhauser (University of Oxford)
Hendrik Weber (University of Warwick)
Lorenzo Zambotti (UPMC Paris)

- Additional short communications by participants.

In a few cases funding for local expensens for young participants might be available, but funds are limited.
